We’re excited to announce that our team recently took part in the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition at Insomni’hack, one of Europe’s most respected cybersecurity events, held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
This year’s competition brought together over 600 participants and 120 teams from across the globe. The event featured a wide array of challenging tasks designed to test skills across multiple domains, including:
- Binary exploitation
- Reverse engineering
- Web security
- Cryptography
- Digital forensics
- OSINT and networking
- Hardware and embedded security
Among our team were also students from Hack Club FERI, University of Maribor, who brought fresh energy, sharp skills, and academic insight to the competition. Not only was this a great opportunity to showcase our technical capabilities, but it also served as an excellent team-building experience.
We returned home with new ideas, renewed motivation, and a stronger sense of collaboration—ready to apply what we learned to new challenges ahead. Events like Insomni’hack highlight the importance of continuous learning, creativity, and community in cybersecurity.
